> In reply to sipho @ 2008-08-07 09:08 from NxsfHola mpintji-mpontjo! I guess this won't suprise u coz ur name sounds very South African to me. Well, very few Mzansizens(slang for South African citizens) appreciate Motorola and if I was using a Motorola I would have finished writting this comment ages ago but I'm still stuck with this crappy Nokia 6234 which I have to exit this application(Operamini) whenever I receive an SMS otherwise the message tone will keep on irritating me or if someone is buzzing me I won't see the number untill I exit the game. In a Motorola the game/application is automatically suspended so I'll go back and resume where I left if I want to, or if I want to make a call quickly I suspend the game or Operamini manually, and go back to resume where I left after the call. What I wanna see is the new range of Linux Motorolas coming with 3.5G(HSDPA) 'cause all the Linux Motos were made for the US and Chinese markets which did'nt have 3G before but that must change as the US is already on HSDPA now and China is just upgrading to 3G. Remember all the Linux Motos? The A1200, E1, E2, E6, E8, Z6, V8, ZN5, etc, did'nt have 3G and were never seen here in SA except Z6, E8 and V8 which are recent models. I would like to see a high-end VE75(having such a big screen it was underfeatured) with a bigger camera, at least a Kodak 3.2mp with auto-focus and xenon flash upwards, 3.5mm jack, TV-out, WiFi, 3G, GPS, HTML browser with flash lite and a PDF/Office document viewer and more Windows Mobile and Symbian UIQ handsets. Peace!

Why people talk about the camera function on phone?Phone is used for communication,so its must focus to this feature....I think this MOTO music series is the best...when your hear music not depend on the high volume for the speaker...but the balancing & stability of the music quality.....think deeply...

> In reply to Dragoshu @ 2008-08-05 17:51 from nDBGEM30 is a lower-end version of E8, which actually "minus" the "Omega wheel".

My wife is using an E8, overall she likes the phone...except the Omega wheel, which drives her a bit crazy.

If EM30 really comes with the software which allows user to edit songs into ringtones, I'll definitely get one for my wife! (yes, there are dummies out there who don't know how to use other software to edit songs into ringtones...)

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-08-05 22:07 from 0iT2That's because MORE people are able to afford what you consider as "garbage" in places where you likely never go...

Just because the "budget" buyers are the ones who help Moto to sustain its No.3 position, that doesn't mean you can step on these people and yell at what they choose / can afford...

If you want good pictures, get a Canon G9.

> In reply to Bye Bye Motto @ 2008-08-06 01:13 from mnEkI can assure you MOST (at least over 60%...including my wife and my mom!) DO NOT need any of the so called "requirement" you mentioned.

Phones WITHOUT such features actually helped Moto to sustain its No.3 position in Q2 2008.

No offense, where is SE in Q2 2008? How about HTC? Every single phone from HTC has the features you want...will it ever be top 3? Doubt so.

> In reply to Ex Moto Fans @ 2008-08-06 06:54 from PFgNPhones with higher quality cams are likely cost more, which most Moto customers probably don't want / can't pay for at the moment. Selling a bunch of low-mid-end phones is the key of Moto's "success" over SE...as Moto is still No.3 in Q2 2008 and SE is still...

Same goes to lack of HSDPA, I do love Moto phones with HSDPA, though majority of Moto's customers don't really use HSDPA...i.e. mainland China and USA!

So if you're in charge of Moto's business, what would you do?
