The Nokia 8 got certified by the US FCC in June this year. The device went official last month, and is already available in a bunch of markets.
The list, sadly, doesn't include the US yet. However, this could change soon, as HMD has added some changes to the FCC listings for Nokia 8 variants TA-1004 and TA-1012, strongly indicating the company is preparing for the US launch.
While that's definitely good news for Nokia fans in the US, here's the icing on the cake: the changes reveal the device will arrive in the country with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
For those who aren't aware, the regular Nokia 8 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.
Sadly, there's no official information on exactly when the flagship will hit the shelves in the US. It can't be long now.
Way to go Nokia, offering inferior specs to EU, which made you at the first place. Hope it will share HTC's fate which also always hated EU
