Samsung D900 review: Slim slider extreme
The slimmest slider in the world already on the market. Samsung D900 (12.9 mm thick when closed) offers almost maximum equipment. It has also been given a special final touch: a 3 megapixel camera and a superb display. Now try to imagine it all in a stylish sliding body. The price, however, is rather high.

my partner had this phone for a year and six months oki it`s nice and fine and he was really happy with it until one month after purchase he took his mobile from his pocket to realize that the screen was cracked! when he went back to d shop he told him that he didn`t handle it with care ! so he had to pay €250 to get it fixed !! now d keypad is gone !! it has loads of good features like sending loads of things in d same time with d bluetooth ! but d battery won`t last long! i think it`s just rubbish for d price u pay for it at least it should last three years!

well at last tell me if im wrong i was saved from buying another samsung phone with weak battery life ... i saw a user opinion in this web site saying that this phone needs to be charged everyday after listening to music for a while and sending a few text messeges and after taking a few calls , is this true cuz i faced a lot of problems about battery life with samsung mobiles before ... i have totally hated samsung and went back to nokia whats with the features if theres a weak battery life ... i have a nokia 5700 xm now and after playing with it for over two days max only the battery dies ... at least i need the battery power for two days thats enough ... but i think samsung phone batteries are the weakest among all phone models ... thx to that guy who put his true user opinion in this web site i was saved or else i will have wasted my money again and have brought a d900 or a d900i for my bro ...

Have had the D900 since Jan 07 and although do like this phone a couple of buttons on the keypad have split. I also find texting not very comfortable as the lip on top and bottom tend to get in the way. Other than that it is a great phone.

just got the phone a few days back, quite impressed, wanted the u600 but hey. Camera's pretty good, i recommend turning off Auto Focus, it just takes too dam long! Menu's handy to use, nokia-esque if you will, a customisable message tone wouldda been nice tho, and the vivid messaging, a bit gimmicky and can be annoying but i love it!!
as of 17/10/07, i'd recommend it! [lets hope it stays that way!!]

The phone's really good! Just a few q's- there's a musical note icon next to the battery at the top right hand corner of the phone. What is it and how do i get rid of it?
Can you get any more themes for the phone?

i just got this phone and there is no problem with the camera or enything else(at least for now),but i think it would be perfect if it had radio, and the only way to transfer games without modding the phone is by downloading them from your phone...

carlo, when you're sending msgs, press options, send and save - don't just press ok! cos that will send it without saving. Hope this helps :D

Also, this is a beautiful phone. Not a piece of junk to throw around like an old RAZR. Someone asked to use my phone the other day. After he was done he set it down on the table too hard and I punched his lights out. This phone is delicate, if you treat it badly, it WILL break. Just take care of it and you shouldn't have any issues with it. I have the black one and love it.

I have the d900i, should be the same, though.
To save text, after you type, hit options, then 2. Or options, scroll down one slot, then enter/ok. There is no way to set it to automatically do this. Sent emails DO get saved automatically. Text requires one extra button to be pushed.
Can anyone confirm the max email attachment for d900? d900i you can set to unlimited. He said 300k for d900 in this review. Just checking.

Don't waste you money - this phone is built to last 2 months before the screen cracks. Samsung won't accept responsibility.
I'll never buy Samsung for the rest of my life.

I've had this phone for about four months...everything was running smoothly until one day...I picked it up...and the screen had cracked! my heart sank! i absolutely loved this phone when I bought it! Extremely disappointed with Samsung!..I've had many Samsungs and it has never happened before...maybe Samsung spent too long making it " the worlds slimmest slider " and did not pay enough attention to the screen! Surely it should not be THIS sensitive that you cannot even put it in your pocket!..The U300 and U600 are thinner! Lets see if they have the same problem!...I love Samsungs! I'm even considering purchasing the U300! Even this is not enough to put me off Samsung mobiles! Lol! :)
