Samsung D900 review: Slim slider extreme
The slimmest slider in the world already on the market. Samsung D900 (12.9 mm thick when closed) offers almost maximum equipment. It has also been given a special final touch: a 3 megapixel camera and a superb display. Now try to imagine it all in a stylish sliding body. The price, however, is rather high.

To samsung scores,
I thought sliding mechanism is the same as previous samsung sliders. I used E800, and D500 b4 and now using D900. All are same.
D900 is most stylish 3mega cam ph in the market so far. It still has some limited functions though.

The question is: Does the D900 vibrate the exact time it rings? Can you personalise a message tone with music? and not just the default poly ringtones...

ive used the D600 for a yr n E800 prior to it, b4 switching to D900. i muz say the reviews of the cam quite biased,,.... it takes v clear pix n details r actually captured!! i like the dif mode settings... however auto may not be so intuitive, i prefer to do it manually tho. wat i dun like is the sliding mechanism... E800 n D600 both had spring mechanism... why isnt D900 equipped with that??? the sound quality is amazing.... ive dumped nokia n have not looked back since

To vic, u can't turn off the keypad tone if u set to theme. but u can do it by just pressing down side volume key to 0 .
This ph is great. i used SE W800 b4. it also took abt 2-3 sec to adjust focus. so u can't avoid that delay.
only flaws i found from this ph is u can't take away operator logo and analog clock and date from wallpaper when u set living wall theme. music quality is bad(no bass) as the earpiece is low quality, but i dun mind becoz i seldom listen music from phs. And camera view finder give image brighter and after u took photo, it turns out darker. i dunno why.

GSMArena has lost some reliability and confidence due to the very biased review of the D900, which is a very stylish and functional hit in the mobile phone world. The production quality and software bugs of NOKIA is doing everything to undermine their long forgotten "monopoly". Why doesn't GSMArena be fair to mention the high quality touch that you get with Samsung, the "living world" and very compact design holding everything you really need right in the box and just in time?

It takes like 3-4 seconds after u press the button for it to actually finish focus and capture the pic,, by this time, most of time the thing u want to take has moved, therefore it will be blurred. really disappointing. I only have 4 pics in my phone, and to view them takes like 5 seconds to access the picture folder.. this is rediculous. It takes even longer to see pics from my memory card. But music plays instantly from memory card..

bought this phone last thursday and i must say this phone is un-be-live-able! slim, light weight, feels good in hand, stylish, gorgeous screen and camera resolution, superior sound quality, everything is so awesome now my gf also bought one in wine red. i also have no problem at all using my 1G sandisk micro SD card. i truly think my gf and i have finally found a phone that we can use for a long time! cheers everyone.

Well yes,not 2 bad 4 a ph without OS like Nokia.BUT,batt life really sucks. Why give D900 energysapping, hitec thingz like 3G,bluetooth,music+video,high qual screen,MMS,etc.if it doesnt have the battlife 2 properly drive these thingz???? Is battlife not the most important thing in a ph?? The batt is just 2 thin 2 have good+strong energy,4sure!!!& further,WEAK BATT = WEAK SIGNIL,not so??If u really mean 2 use all tese functions,RECHARGE EVERY DAY/NIGHT,or get y/self a (smart)ph with decent battlife..

Hi
I have just bought a Samsung D900 after using a D500 for nearly 18 months. I can't describe how I disappointed I am!I have just had the phone for 2 days and after charging it fully and after one phone call of 5-10 minuted duration the battery is dead and the phone is refusing to switch on.I am struck at work with out a charger for rest of the week end. The battery level was full this morning and it is gone now.I would like to know if anyone has had similar experience and how I should sort it out.Is there is warranty for the battery?

As I just recently brought this phone, I have something that I want to transfer into the phone but there isnt much memory.
So I decided to buy 1Gb of memory card for this phone.
Along the way deciding on which brand to buy, I came across a user saying that only Sandisk micro SD card with 1Gb is about to use in D900.
As for kingstone one is unable.
So I would like to know the true before purchasing 1.
Do drop me a e-mail to clear my misunderstanding.
