Honor Android Rumors Mobile hardware

Back in June, a tipster claimed that Honor was developing a smartphone with a massive 14,000mAh battery. At the time, the battery was reportedly in the New Product Introduction (NPI) stage. A new leak now suggests that the battery has entered mass production.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the battery will have a capacity of between 14,000mAh and 15,000mAh and has reportedly entered the trial production phase.

The tipster claims that Honor expects the smartphone featuring this battery will deliver up to a week of use on a single charge. The phone is expected to launch sometime next year.

While the tipster has not revealed which smartphone will feature the massive battery, Honor could use it on the Power3 or the Win RT3. The tipster also revealed that this would be a high-density cell and the overall weight and thickness of the phone will not be excessive.

Notably, Honor recently unveiled the Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 with a 12,070mAh battery.
