Huawei Announcement

Huawei has confirmed the global launch of a new nova 15 series device, the nova 15 Max. The phone is expected to debut at an event in Thailand on May 7. Notably, the company previously introduced the nova 15, nova 15 Pro, and nova 15 Ultra in China in December 2025.

The company has shared images and key specifications of the nova 15 Max on X. The device features a refreshed design compared to the rest of the nova 15 lineup.

A few key specs of the nova 15 Max have also been confirmed, with the standout being its massive 8,500mAh battery. The device will also feature a 50MP RYYB rear camera and stereo speakers.

The handset is likely to be offered in three color options, as seen in the images shared by Huawei, although no additional details have been disclosed so far.

Looking at the design and confirmed specs, the nova 15 Max appears to be a rebranded version of the Enjoy 90 Pro Max, which debuted in China last month. That device features a 6.84-inch AMOLED display, a Kirin 8000 chipset, an 8,500mAh battery with 40W fast charging, a 50MP RYYB primary camera, and an 8MP front-facing sensor.

You telling blatant lies. The Nova Series receives security and OS updates and though it is not as Rampant as Apple and Samsung provide - users get these updates every 3 months and the Pura series get them every month .
